Yes it does, but with the weather and some of the drivers having to deal with the storm, We figured it was the best thing.
Next race will be Greenwood,PA

Just a reminder that the we will be having a doubleheader weekend July 15 & 16 will be a a double points, and not only is it a double, it's at our 2 fastest track so far this year!
It all starts, July 15 at Selinsgrove and then July 16 we head to Borgers.

Below is the news release from thier website.... http://www.borgers-speedway.com/news_results.htm They are not your father’s every day lawn mower but a high speed racing machine hitting over 60 mph hour on the straight-aways. With lap times faster then the Slingshots and just under the Sprints, and mowers in front, behind, and on either side you can compare these guys and gals to the Profession Bull Riders at the rodeo. The Fastest Racing Lawn Mower Series took to the 1/7 mile clay oval and kept the fans on the edge of their seats. Courtney Murphy won the Single Cycle with Joel Bell winning the twin cycle. The Mowers will return to Borgers Speedway on July 16 for a National Event. For the guys that did the TV interviews....WAY TO PROMOTE THE SPORT!!!! |

Karts will be running on May 14th, Start time is 11:30 am and the mowers will follow at 2:00pm, with a short break in between them for track maintenance.
The food stand will be open with all proceeds going to the Relay for Life, a charity that helps raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.
So please come out to the Middle Road Raceway and help us reach our goal of $1500!

Guys great job!!! I heard a lot of great things from the stands and some of the kart/ sprint drivers.....
Holly s--t mowers go that fast!!! .......Yes they DO.
Again way to promote the sport.

Welcome to FTFMRS (For The Fastest Mowers Racing Series)
We are a group of mower racers, from all over the Northeast and we have decided to put together a series of approximately 12 races for 2011. All of these races will be held on nice fast and smooth racing surfaces, most of which will be go-kart tracks.
These races are open to any mower racer, from any organization, as long as they meet our rules and safety guidelines.
